"Mariam has helped us with various cases and she’s always been honest with us throughout each case. We have recommended many friends and family to her and they were all very pleased with their results."
Mariam is very caring person. She’s very efficient with what she does. You can email her at any hour of day or night and she will respond In a timely manner. She has helped us with various cases and she’s always been honest with us throughout each case. We have recommended many friends and family to her and they were all very pleased with their results. I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone. If I could rate her a 6/5 stars I would.
"Mariam knew exactly what to do to make things right and because of her, my mother is a U.S. citizen. Meeting with her makes you feel at ease."
Mariam Masumi and her staff are the best immigration law team there is. My mother's case was ruined by another lawyer who did not know what he was doing and so much of her money went down the drain. But Mariam knew exactly what to do to make things right and because of her, my mother is a U.S. citizen. Meeting with her makes you feel at ease. That is because she knows how to explain things in a way where you understand what is going on with your case and you feel confident that you are in good hands. Her knowledge and experience are obvious just by talking to her for a few minutes. I am glad of the choice we made to have a case with Mariam and her team. We could not have gotten anyone better.
"I am now a free man and will get my Green Card back soon. None of this would have been possible without Mariam and her firm. Words can't describe how grateful I am to her and if you're reading this look no further!"
I retained Mariam Masumi as my lawyer in November of 2017 while detained by ICE and was in removal proceedings. My case was a difficult one as I was originally ordered deported in August of 2005. My country was not accepting anyone ordered deported in 2005 so I was released on Order Of Supervision in November of that year. Things changed in 2017 hence I was picked up by ICE in October of 2017 and put into removal proceedings again. While detained in late 2017 Mariam started taking the steps to try and get my case reopened which was an extremely hard thing to do. Unfortunately to no fault of Mariam or her firm I was deported in January of 2018. This made things even more difficult for my case and my chances of returning to fight my case were not very good. However, this did not deter Mariam at all and she continued to fight my case to try and get me back to the States. She succeeded in May of 2018 and got my case reopened! It then took about 6 months to get paroled back to the U.S. where I was detained again until my final court date in March of 2019 which we WON! I am now a free man and will get my Green Card back soon. None of this would have been possible without Mariam and her firm. Words can't describe how grateful I am to her and if you're reading this look no further!
I will always recommend this office for any type of immigration case you're going through , They’re very professional and well experienced in this field. They took charge of a complicated situation of mine and addressed it accordingly, they filed in the necessary forms & filled all correctly, what amazed me the most was that all the documents was submitted and so there was no NOID & request for evidences and all those things that delays the case , that made it go through so so fast & smooth.
I got approved and now I have my Green-card!! Mariam was excellent at explaining to my understanding everything that I needed to know ,Jonathan worked directly with me through the steps and Barbara was the best!! She prepared me to the fullest for the interview , she was present and did literally everything for me except when the officer asked me questions! I have given them a 5Star & more because of the wonderful experience I got from hiring them.
"The diligence of Mariam, making sure we had everything that could possibly be needed even when sometimes I felt it was too much. The team definitely kept me having hope but always kept things realistic and gave me realistic expectations."
I had cause to need services of an immigration attorney in August of 2017 after being detained by ICE. It was least to say a very humbling and trying experience. One of the things that made it not feel as bad as it actually was besides my family and close friends was the support, effectiveness and diligence of this law firm. After being referred to them by a friend, they went after my case like it was personal.
The diligence of Mariam, making sure we had everything that could possibly be needed even when sometimes I felt it was too much. The calming effect every time I spoke to her and Mr. Johnson before he retired. They definitely kept me having hope but always kept things realistic and gave me realistic expectations.
I was eventually released and retained the law firm again when it came time to finish the journey I have started by obtaining my citizenship. I was not surprised I got the exact same type of service and needless to say everything worked out in the end.
I was/am extremely pleased with their service and will always appreciate the hard work and dedication that was attached to my case

"After working with them for less than 6 months, I received approvals for my employment authorization, waiver of inadmissibility, and finally my permanent resident card."
I don’t usually write reviews, but had to do so this time after an amazing experience with Johnson Masumi. I contacted Johnson Masumi after reading their reviews on Google. I was at my lowest point after 3 incredibly stressful years trying to transition from a visitor’s visa to permanent residence. My efforts had resulted in a NOID. I decided to give them a try and they completely exceeded my expectations. They were thorough, took their time to understand my specific situation, and clearly explained my options to me. After working with them for less than 6 months, I received approvals for my employment authorization, waiver of inadmissibility, and finally my permanent resident card. THANK YOU SO MUCH Johnson Masumi!!!
